Anderson was born in Ladysmith, British Columbia, the daughter of Barry, a furnace repairman, and Carol (ne Grosco)[citation needed] Anderson, a waitress. Her great-grandfather, Juho Hyytiinen, was Finnish, a native of Saarijrvi, and left the Grand Duchy of Finland (which was a part of the Russian Empire at the time) in 1908.He changed his name to Anderson when he arrived as an immigrant. Anderson also has Russian ancestry on her mother's side.

Anderson got some press coverage right after her birth as the country's "Centennial Baby", having been the first baby born on July 1, 1967, the 100th anniversary of Canada's official founding via the Constitution Act, 1867

Career
Discovery

During the summer of 1989, Anderson went with friends to a BC Lions Canadian Football League game at BC Place in Vancouver, during which live video of her wearing a tightly-fitted Labatt's Beer t-shirt was shown on the stadium's huge video screen, causing an immense roar of approval from the crowd. As part of a PR event for the brewery, she was then escorted down to field level to wide applause. From that event, her photographer boyfriend Dan Ilicic produced a poster of his own called the Blue Zone Girl.

Acting and modeling

After she moved to Los Angeles, she won a minor role as the original "Tool Time girl" on the hit television sitcom, Home Improvement. She left the show after two seasons and won the role of C. J. Parker on Baywatch, a role she played between 1992 and 1998. Anderson was still modeling for Outdoor Life and appearing on the cover of the magazine each year. Anderson's mother did not know, and learned of the marriage from People magazine. During this time, she was known professionally as Pamela Anderson Lee. Together they have two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee. Dylan Jagger Lee was named for Anderson's great grandfather, Dale Jagger Grosco who fought in World War II. The couple divorced in 1998. Although divorced, the couple reunited briefly upon Lee's release from prison but eventually split again in 2001. They reconciled and split again in 2008

In 1999, Anderson received the first Linda McCartney Memorial Award for animal rights protectors, in recognition of her campaign. In 2003, Anderson stripped down for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" advertising campaign. On June 28, 2006, Anderson posed naked with other protesters on a window display of the Stella McCartney boutique in London, England. It was a PETA gala event before the PETA Humanitarian Awards. Initial release: March 27, 2014 (Australia)

Director: Gareth Evans

Running time: 150 minutes

Prequel: The Raid

Languages: Arabic, Japanese, Indonesian, English

Production

Following Merantau, Gareth Evans and his producers began to work on a project called Berandal (which is Indonesian for "thugs"), a large-scale prison gang film intended to star not only Merantau actors Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Donny Alamsyah, but also an additional pair of international fight stars. A teaser trailer was shot, but the project proved to be more complex and time consuming than they had anticipated. After a year and a half, Evans and the producers found themselves with insufficient funds to produce Berandal, so they changed to a simpler, but different story with a smaller budget. They called the project Serbuan Maut (The Raid). While developing The Raid in script form, Evans considered the idea of creating a link between it and the initial project, Berandal. It was later confirmed that Berandal will serve as a sequel to The Raid. Evans has also stated his intention to make it a trilogy. With the title for the North American market announced as The Raid 2, the sequel has a "significantly larger" budget than its predecessor, and its production schedule will take approximately 100 days. The pre-production was expected to begin in September 2012 with filming in January 2013.

Casting

A new cast was announced in December 2012: Indonesian celebrities Julie Estelle (the female lead in Macabre) will take the role of Alicia "The Hammer Girl", Marsha Timothy (the female lead in The Forbidden Door), with other parts going to Merantau baddie Alex Abbad, Mathias Muchus and Tio Pakusadewo. Internationally renowned silat practitioner Cecep Arif Rahman has also signed on for a major part.[16] The international cast joining the sequel to the Indonesian action hit The Raid. Matsuda Ryuhei (Blue Spring, Nine Souls, Nightmare Detective), Endo Kenichi (a Takashi Miike regular), and Kitamura Kazuki (the Japanese lead in the Mo Brothers film Killers) will be joining the cast.

Filming

In January 2013, PT Merantau Films and XYZ Films announced the start of production. The filming process took about seven months and ended in July 2013.The film's lead cinematographer Matt Flannery tweeted that at least three RED cameras were used in a test shoot of a chase scene. Gareth Evans mentioned on his Twitter that they were using RED Scarlet for 95% of the shoot, Epic for slow mo, and Go Pro 3 for quick cuts during the car chase.

Marketing

A teaser trailer was released on Twitchfilm at 6 November 2013. The Hollywood Reporter said, "the images unleashes more action than most Hollywood blockbusters." Followed by a longer Indonesian trailer later in 31 December 2013.The American trailer was released on 21 January 2014.

Writer : Christopher Markus

Music Director : Henry Jackman

Releasing On : 4 April 2014

Plot

Two years after the Battle of New York, Steve Rogers works in Washington D.C. for the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D. under Director Nick Fury, while adjusting to contemporary society. Rogers and Agent Natasha Romanoff are sent with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s counter-terrorism S.T.R.I.K.E. team, led by Agent Rumlow, to free hostages aboard a S.H.I.E.L.D. vessel from Georges Batroc and his mercenaries. Mid-mission, Rogers discovers Romanoff has another agenda: to extract data from the ship's computers for Fury. Rogers returns to the Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s headquarters, to confront Fury and is briefed about Project Insight: three Helicarriers linked to spy satellites, designed to preemptively eliminate threats. Unable to decrypt Romanoff's recovered data, Fury becomes suspicious about Insight and asks senior S.H.I.E.L.D. official Alexander Pierce to delay the project.

Captain America The Winter Soldier On his way to rendezvous with Maria Hill, Fury is ambushed by assailants led by a mysterious assassin called the Winter Soldier. Fury escapes to Rogers's apartment, and warns Rogers that S.H.I.E.L.D. is compromised. After handing Rogers a flash drive containing data from the ship, Fury is gunned down by the Winter Soldier. Fury dies in surgery, and Hill recovers the body. The next day, Pierce summons Rogers to the Triskelion. When Rogers withholds Fury's information, Pierce brands him a fugitive. Hunted by S.T.R.I.K.E., Rogers meets with Romanoff. Using data in the flash drive they discover a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. bunker in New Jersey, where they activate a supercomputer containing the preserved consciousness of Arnim Zola. Zola reveals that ever since S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded after World War II, Hydra has secretly operated within its ranks, sowing global chaos in the hope that humanity would willingly surrender its freedom in exchange for security. The pair narrowly escape death when a S.H.I.E.L.D. missile destroys the bunker.

Initial release: March 13, 2014 (Hollywood)

Running time: 136 minutes

Initial DVD release: September 9, 2014

Prequel: Captain America: The First Avenger

Production

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely said in April 2011 that they had begun writing a sequel for Marvel Studios. In a June 2011 interview, McFeely said, "The story will likely be in the present day. We're experimenting with flashback elements for more period World War II stuff. I can't say much more than that but we made it baggy enough to refer to more stories in the past". McFeely later revealed that 98% of the shooting script takes place in the present day, and that the first few months of writing were a back and forth process with Marvel, but that after an outline was finished, the story didn't change much.[51] Markus and McFeely wanted to adapt Ed Brubaker's Winter Soldier storyline from the comics, but it took them six months to convince themselves that they could do it. The two settled on the conspiracy genre for the screenplay and cited Three Days of the Condor, The Parallax View, and Marathon Man as influences.

In September 2011, Chris Evans said that a sequel may not be released until 2014. In January 2012, Neal McDonough, who played Dum Dum Dugan in Captain America: The First Avenger, mentioned that a sequel would likely be filmed after the completion of Thor: The Dark World, which would likely have been before the end of 2012.

Filming

Principal photography began on April 1, 2013, at the Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios in Los Angeles, under the working title Freezer Burn. Scenes taking place on the "Lemurian Star" were filmed on the Sea Launch Commander, docked in Long Beach, California. In early May, Dominic Cooper confirmed he would return as Howard Stark. On May 14, 2013, production moved to Washington, D.C. with filming taking place at the National Mall and the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.[84] The following day, Garry Shandling was spotted on set reprising his Iron Man 2 role of Senator Stern. Other filming locations in Washington, D.C. included the Willard Hotel and Dupont Circle.'[

Music

In June 2013, Henry Jackman announced that he would compose the film's score. About the score Jackman said, "...it's 50% production and all the tricks I've learnt from spending years in the record industry but then it's also got the kind of injection of symphonic, thematic, heroic music that all kind of merges into one musical, and hopefully coherent piece". A soundtrack album was released by Hollywood Records on April 1, 2014.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Director : Kenneth Branagh

Genre : Action,thriller

Producer : Lorenzo di Bonaventura

Writer : Adam Cozad,

Music Director : Patrick Doyle

Releasing On : 17 January 2014

Plot

After the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Jack Ryan (Pine), studying at the London School of

Economics, becomes a US Marine second lieutenant fighting in Afghanistan, where he is

critically injured when his helicopter is shot down.

During a lengthy rehab, he attracts the attention of Cathy Muller (Knightley), a

medical student, and Thomas Harper (Costner), an official with the CIA who

recruits him.Ten years later, Ryan is working on Wall Street with a cover job

as a compliance officer at a stock brokerage, and as a covert CIA analyst,

looking for suspect financial transactions that would indicate terrorist activity.

When the Russian Federation loses a key vote before the United Nations,

Ryan notices that the markets do not respond in the expected way. He

discovers that trillions of dollars held by Russian organizations have

disappeared. A large number of these funds are controlled by Viktor Cherevin

(Branagh), a Russian tycoon.

Initial release: January 16, 2014 (Singapore)

Director: Kenneth Branagh

Initial DVD release: June 10, 2014 (USA)

Story by: Tom Clancy

Screenplay: David Koepp, Adam Cozad

Development

After the financial success of their film The Sum of All Fears (2002),

Paramount Pictures made attempts to continue the Jack Ryan film series, but

nothing came to fruition. In 2008, the company engaged director Sam Raimi to

spearhead a revival of the series, but he later dropped out due to his

commitment to the Spider-Man film series.

In October 2009, Paramount and co-financier Skydance Productions were

negotiating with actor Chris Pine to portray Jack Ryan in a film based on Tom

Clancy's character, but not on any of the books. At the time, producers

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mace Neufeld were working with an original

concept drafted by Hossein Amini. In August 2010, director Jack Bender was

the frontrunner to direct the film, based on a script tentatively titled Moscow by

Adam Cozad. The following month, writer Anthony Peckham was brought on to

perform rewrites, and later Steve Zaillian, who wrote the screenplay for Clear

and Present Danger (1994), was engaged to perform rewrites as well.

However, Zaillian withdrew after a few weeks and the film was put on hold by

Paramount in order for Pine to reprise his role as James T. Kirk in Star Trek

Into Darkness. During this time, David Koepp was brought on to rewrite the

script, with shooting scheduled to begin in the second half of 2012.

Production

While images from the film's production in Manhattan surfaced in late August

2012, Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions did not announce the

start of principal photography on Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit until September

18, 2012. At this time, filming was taking place at Liverpool City Centre, which

was doubling as Moscow, Filming in New York City had been completed

earlier that month.[30] Other shooting locales included London and

Moscow.Later, reshoots were also done in New York City.

Music

The musical score of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit was composed by Patrick

Doyle, who has collaborated on many of Kenneth Branagh's directorial efforts.

Writing the score took Doyle up to seven months, which is more than usual.

"In Jack Ryan, [Kenneth] wanted a piece of music for this scene and I had the

theme the following day for it," said Doyle on his relationship with Branagh. "I

actually wrote the main theme of the movie, just sitting there watching it. This

is the expectation of a person you’re very close to. There’s no pressure in

that you’re so relaxed, especially someone like Kenneth. He brings out the

best in you because he creates such a casual, relaxed, but hard-working

environment at the same time."

Director : Jaume Collet-Serra
Genre : Action,thriller
Producer : Joel Silver
Writer : John W. Richardson
Music Director : John Ottman

Plot

Bill Marks is an alcoholic U.S. federal air marshal; he enrolled in the Air Marshal service after he was discharged from the police force. On a Boeing 767 non-stop flight from New York to London aboard British Aqualantic Flight 10, midway over the Atlantic Ocean, Marks receives text messages on his secure phone stating that someone on the plane will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred into a specific bank account.

Breaking protocol, Marks consults with Jack Hammond, the other air marshal on the flight. Hammond is revealed to be smuggling cocaine in a briefcase and following an altercation Marks ends up killing him in a lavatory. This occurs exactly at the 20 minute mark, resulting in the first death. As Marks attempts to stall for time with the texter, he works with Nancy Hoffman, a flight attendant, and Jen Summers, a passenger seated next to Marks, to discover the texter's identity. When the time runs out again, the captain suddenly dies of poisoning.

The public becomes convinced that Marks is hijacking the plane, as the bank account is in his name and a passenger uploads video footage of him treating passengers aggressively with no explanation. Co-pilot Kyle Rice has been instructed by the TSA to ignore Marks and land in Iceland, the closest destination; he diverts the plane but continues to cautiously trust Marks. Cell phone programmer Zack White is asked by Marks to design a hack which will cause the texter's cell phone to ring. It is discovered in the pocket of a passenger, who claims to have never seen the phone before. Following a fight with Marks, the passenger dies in a similar fashion to the captain.

In the lavatory, Marks finds a hole in the wall that allowed someone to shoot a poison dart at the captain; he finds that the deceased passenger was struck with a dart as well. While Marks and Summers try to gain access to the texter's phone, it suddenly activates, sending automated messages to TSA implying that Marks is suicidal and is going to detonate a bomb on the plane.

The Rover
Director : David Michôd
Genre : Drama,crime
Producer : David Linde Liz Watts
Writer : Joel Edgerton
Music Director : Antony Partos
Releasing On : 20 June 2014
Plot

10 years after a global economic collapse, people from many different races have moved to Australia and the American dollar is the most common currency. After a robbery gone wrong, Archie (David Field), Caleb (Tawanda Manyimo) and Henry (Scoot McNairy) flee, leaving behind Henry's injured brother Rey (Robert Pattinson). While driving away, Archie mocks Rey and Henry attacks him, causing Caleb to crash. When they cannot start the car, Archie steals the car belonging to mysterious loner Eric (Guy Pearce). Eric manages to start the getaway vehicle and follows them. After a brief chase, Archie stops and Eric confronts them. When Eric tries to attack Archie, Henry knocks him unconscious with a shotgun.

Eric wakes up and drives his new car into town, where he wanders into several establishments, asking if they have seen the men. He goes to an opium den, where he finds a dwarf and two Chinese acrobats from a travelling circus in the backroom. Eric follows the dwarf to his trailer, where he offers Eric a gun for US$300. Eric shoots the dwarf in the head and leaves. After another confrontation with the opium den's owner, he walks back to his truck and finds Rey, who asks why he is in Henry's car. Eric asks Rey where Henry is, but Rey faints.

After seeking help from a shopkeeper, Eric takes Rey to a doctor (Susan Prior), who performs surgery on him. The next day, Eric sees two cars approaching in the distance and takes the doctor's rifle. He kills one of the drivers and his passenger, the Chinese acrobats seeking revenge. Another acrobat goes to investigate and is shot in the head by Eric, who leaves with Rey.

Eric and Rey stay at a motel in an almost-abandoned town. While Eric sits outside, Rey takes Eric's gun and sees an Army truck driving down the street. He is shot at, as someone tries to open the door. He shoots through the door and is shocked to find he has killed the daughter of the motel's owner. He is then shot at by a soldier (Nash Edgerton). Eric comes to the rescue, killing the soldier and driving away from the scene.

Initial release: June 4, 2014 (France)
Director: David Michod
Running time: 102 minutes
Cinematography: Natasha Braier
Screenplay: David Michod

Production

Following the success of his debut film Animal Kingdom, David Michod started working on his next screenplay, based on a story he conceived with Joel Edgerton. The story is set in the near future, in Australia a decade after the collapse of the western economy where people from all over the world come to work in the mines.

The setting and plot of the film will draw comparisons with Mad Max. Clarifying those comparisons, Michod said that, "You put cars in the desert in Australia and people are going to think of Mad Max, and with all due respect to that film — and I stress that — I think The Rover is going to be way more chillingly authentic and menacing."

Talking about the characters in the film, Michod said, "There is a strong sort of Asian flavour in the film, but I wanted it to feel like people have come from everywhere, from all corners of the world. Rey is a southern American who has travelled with his older brother Henry to work in the Australian mines. Robert Pattinson and Scoot McNairy are the only American accented characters in the film, but a lot of other accents join them, including Mandarin, Cambodian, and of course, Australian

Casting

It is the second collaboration between David Michod and Guy Pearce after Animal Kingdom; Michod wrote the character of Eric for Pearce. In May 2012, it was announced that Pearce would appear as Eric in the film.

Pattinson won the role of Reynolds after audition, over other actors. Michod commented on the casting of Pattinson that, "(he is) really smart, and not the sort of pretty boy I was expecting. As soon as it was time to start testing… he was my first choice, by a long way."

In February 2013, McNairy joined the cast of the film as Henry (Reynolds' brother). Gillian Jones was cast in the role of the matriarch, who runs an opium den.

Michod used amateur actors from the Australian outback in the film. Talking about that he said, "You can't meet these people and not think, Oh, there's got be a way of getting you in this movie

Music

Antony Partos composed the score for the film. He previously collaborated with Michod on his 2010 film Animal Kingdom.[1] Musician Sam Petty, who previously worked with Michod on Animal Kingdom and Hesher selected the soundtracks and music pieces for the film. Gone by Clearside was featured in the first teaser trailer of the film.
